Tricycle undercarriage. Span 100 ft. Turboprop, powered by two pairs of coupled Armstrong Siddeley Mambas of 2,240 hp, two Bristol Theseus of 2,400 hp or four uncoupled Mambas of 1,120 hp, respectively. The Armstrong Whitworth AW55 Apollo, and Vickers-Armstrong Viscount were built to the same Brabazon requirements and the latter type went into production.
